Our daughter has attended Summer Hill Camp for 6 years running and can’t wait until the school year’s over to get back. I am completely delighted with the education and socialization that she receives during her camp experiences. She’s made wonderful, lasting friendships with the other campers and really looks forward to every day. In a small camp like this, the staff makes or breaks the experience. This staff is unbelievable- in addition to being great leaders, truly show them kindness and love. There's great staff longevity too. We see the same smiling faces year after year. The daily swim lessons are invaluable and surprisingly individual for a group setting. Nature, Art, Dance, indoor and outdoor games- she loves it all! Each Friday is a fun theme that she looks forward to. They bring in giant inflatable water slides, petting zoos, pony rides, carnivals and thousands and thousands of popsicles! Our girl can't wait to be old enough for the Explorers and OTM groups- the trips sound like so much fun! The drop-off and pick-up is seamless. They have a circular driveway and lots of people standing by to get your kids in and out of the car safely. There no typical 'goodbye drama' and the line moves super quickly. And the new "text ahead" system means your kid is standing there waiting for you when you pull up. Easy peasy. The facility itself is clean, organized and adorable. The little red schoolhouse is iconic. It's on a huge, beautiful piece of land with all kinds of fun activities, a nice lawn and meticulously maintained grounds. Two big pools, basketball courts, giant fields, wooded trails. The kids get plenty of opportunities to play and move in the fresh air with plenty of shaded structure and indoor room when the weather dictates. The playground equipment and buildings are modern and maintained. They're always updating and adding new features. I appreciate how thoroughly they clean and encourage frequent hand washing. They seem to take every precaution. The biggest indication for me that it's a great place is my daughter's unwillingness to leave at the end of the day. She begs daily to be in Aftercare!! Please don't hesitate to check out Summer Hill Camp. I can't recommend it highly enough.

I can’t say enough GREAT things about Summer Hill Day Camp. My daughter was always nervous to swim and never liked to go under the water. After the first week, she was super excited to show me how she learned to go under water at camp! A few weeks later, she was swimming on her own. That was invaluable to our family. My daughter is always excited to get to camp and also always has a smile on and some great stories to tell me when I pick her up. They do a fantastic job and I would highly recommend Summer Hill to anyone.

The best camp EVER! My kids began attending Summerhill Day Camp at age three and have loved every minute of every day thru age 13. The kids are never bored, with so many great activities and as they get older, trips! Both of my boys are strong swimmers as a result of the swim instruction they received at Summerhill. The entire staff is friendly and helpful and the counselors make sure the campers are engaged and having fun. There is a family vibe about the camp with all campers feeling like they belong and that they are an important part of a the Summerhill community. This is our 6th year at Summer Hill, and we wouldn’t go anywhere else! We started at another camp that was supposed to be “ou tdoors,” and the kids ended up spending most of their time indoors. Summer Hill has a great blend of structure and outdoor fun with activities and weekly themes. They actually spend most of their time outdoors, and I’ve felt super safe sending my kids, even during a pandemic! We love the staff, and the kids can’t believe how fast 8 weeks goes by every year! After returning to work full time, I was filled with angst about how my kids would spend their summers. Fortunately for us we have friends who send their kids to Summer Hill so we decided to give it a try. It has been one of the best decisions that we’ve ever made. Our 12 year old has had the summer of her life with OTM! She has enjoyed the freedom of enjoying places such Jenkinson’s, Great Adventure, and Medieval Times with her friends while still being supervised closely by the way-cooler-than-mom-and-dad counselors. Our 7 year old has enjoyed making new friends, being challenged to learn to swim during swimming lessons, and just getting time to enjoy summertime being a kid. The theme weeks are always a huge hit with both kids, and the Summer Hill staff really does a great job with the Friday special event to end the theme week. We can’t say enough about how happy we have been with Summer Hill! From the office staff to the counselors, it has been one positive encounter after another.
